its been a month since i work
its ok
today its my off day
& im sorry for not updating my blog for almost a month now
i miss all of you out thr

most of the ppl im working wif is abt my age but all of them are just part-timers
they are either waiting for school to reopen or waiting for results
but im the youngest full-timer there

since my first day there, my senior colleagues have been warning me to be careful in work
cos there are some politics happening between some ppl
ouhh... i hate politics!!!
most of my close frens know tt i hate tis kind of things & i will like to remain as neutral as possible
but im not sure whether i can do it
sooner or later i will have to take 1 side especially since ill be working full-time there.. haiz

this job really taught me to be more confident & interact more wif ppl
wich before tis im really not good at.. hehe

during the cny holiday, met up wif some of my mly frens
get to meet the gals and boys at pasir ris park after work
we kind of have bday surprise party for someone tt day
its so great to meet them again
wish i can turn arnd the time

going out wif nabilah ltr cos most of my other frens are quite bz wif their exams

most of my frens are continuing their studies
i wish i can but i cant

she offer me to work in gov body but i already accepted other job
the gov job has a higher pay than e job tt i got.. haiz
and i think the job its more relaxing but probably must work @ nite la
ill see how my current job goes for at least a year b4 making my next move

sometimes in life, we have to make smart decision tt we must shudnt regret

& also, talking to xiao yan rite now
i so miss her and the other gals..
its been a month since i last met them
they must be very bz rite now?
hopefully we will find a day to meet up

i just turned legal 18 on mon(just like what nabilah say)

didnt celebrate much except with my family who has supported me for the past 18 yrs of my life
im really glad tt they are always thr for me especially emak
because of her, im the person tt i am now
& of course, my lovely sis (ecah) who always like to irritate me

and also like to thnk my friends who wishes me(u noe who you are)
& thankful to Allah who watches over me and the people tt i loved..

btw, work has been fine for me
my boss(James) gave me a lot of useful advice for me & his secretary(Yana) has been nice to me and helping me a long the way..
fyi, i worked in a small company near my house and i think the pay is alright for me
& today, is my last day at tt place because im moving to a new workplace soon

its a permanent job for me at its located somewhr in the southern part of spore
i wouldnt want to reveal much about it but if u want to noe ask me yourself (not thru tagboard)
with this job, i think i can really use what i have learn in class
im looking forward to monday.. hehe!

and these next few days, i have some appoinment wif some of my friends whom i havent met for a long time..

finally i have to time to update my blog
anway, came back from my religious class just now & got some advance wishes from my friends
thanks..

gotten all my results already but im just waiting for my cert now
very happy wif my results especially the 2nd term modules
i ace 3 out of 4 modules.. congrats huda!! haha..

msn wif zaf yesterday after a very long time
she asked me to do some kind of quiz about herself
& i just got 40/100.. tts bad rite?
but atleast i noe im not the worse.. hehe.. sorie!! (to the person tt i offended)

tmr i will be working
finally, after i went to alot of interviews to as far as sentosa
sometimes i hav to go from one end of spore to the other in a very short time just for interviews
i dont mind wif it
as long as i have a job & its for my family

& one more thing, i really dont like this kind of arrangement cos thr are a lot of great movies out there tt i wanna watch
i wanna watch house & 27 dresses but i cant.. sorie nabilah
its so frustrarting!!!

its been a very long time since i updated it
btw, tis song is my current favourite song.. his voice is soooo....

have been slacking arnd thats for sure but im still looking for jobs
its so difficult to get a job these days.. not sure why
just went for interview a moment ago and they said i still have to wait for their reply
be patient, Huda!!!!

met pauline yesterday right after she finish her work
i think she became chubbier or something like that but she doesnt admit it
its been 2 months since i last met her.. thats quite a long time rite?
walk around & we talk about a lot of crazy stuff just like we usually did.. hehe
miss her!

i just came back from the career fair which is being held at suntec city
omg.. the fair is useless
i think its better for me to find job in Straits Times which offer a lot more jobs than the fair
just have to persevere.. chaiyo Huda!! its the spelling correct?

one more thing, i gotten my result for 2 modules & im very happy with it
n last but not least, COFFEE PRINCE rocks!!!

its the second post for 2008..
im still looking for a job.. its so difficult to find a job rite now & on top of tt, i made a huge mistake on my resume that i have been sending out to companies.. haiz!

anyway, yesterday went out wif nurul ain after 2 months not meeting her
we went jurong entertainment ctr partly on the recommendation of rabiatul adawiyah.. (thnks rabia!) because she's the one who wrote abt this halal korean restaurant on her blog which gave me an idea to go thr.. hehe!
me & ain, who are korean fanatic had a very good time thr and its kind of cheap and the food is the best!
watched national treasure after that
the movie is awesome but i dont think the cinema is.. its the worst cinema i been to.. the mgmt really need to do revamp or do something wif tt place.
btw, ain is so sweet to make me an oreo cheesecake! (so nice of her)
hopefully, we can go thr & eat more korean foods! hehe..

just now, went to cgh wif nabilah to see a fren. (atiqah zaini)
she has been in the hospital for a wk & its all because of "contact lens"
that is 1 of the reason why i dont want to wear it

i have been busy these days eventhough im not working because of some stuff that i have to do.. lets see where should i start with? ermmmm..

ok, i got it.
recently, went to orchard with my family members to see the the christmas light-up there
every year, we will always make a point to visit orchard not just because to see lights but i think its also a get-together family time which most of us rarely got it which is really a pity
orchard is bustling wif ppl as always of course

next, move on to last week
last weekend, im suppose to meet up wif my mdis clique but i couldnt make for some reasons
first, i have to work for both those on weekends..
who on earth will like to work on weekends rite? its suppose to be the time for us to enjoy & just do our stuff, rite?
my uncle submitted me and my cuz names for us to work at his workplace(Ford,Alexandra) for just 2 days
how about you guys guess what im suppose to do there? make a guess
we were suppose to count the stocks in the warehouse
do you know how BIG the warehouse is?
just imagine us and some other people who are mostly students, were to count every sinhle thing in the warehouse
its sound easy rite but its not.. its really tiring and we had to tt for 2 straight days..
we were each given partner to do this stuff because one had to count the stuff while the other has to record it

on that same weekend also, my long-distance relative wedding ceremony which is at tampines
so during lunchtime on sunday, we went there for a while & have a look at it
my relative from Penang is also here to attend it
so as a host to them, we brought them to bugis street to buy some singapore's souveniors to be brought back home to Penang
they already have gone back to their home which quite a relief

me and my cuz who went work wif me also decided to go bowling @ marina square after getting our pay as a sort of celebration
its been ages since i played bowling
the last time i remember playing, i fell while throwing or rolling the ball!!
anyone want to go bowling with me? i wanna play again!!

from tis sunday to probably next sunday, i will not be here
because.......... i will be in malacca and kuala lumpur for 1 whole week
almost all the family members will be going back
i will also be celebrating hari raya haji there and will be meeting my long-lost uncle from my late father's side
this will be my 1st time meeting them.. wow!

been bz lately as i have much thing to do

it was aired last monday on star world
all the artists that performed on tt show were FABULOUS!
jonas brothers got the loudest cheer among the audience
and the cutest guy( dont noe his name) in tt band, the lead singer, trip but he make great comeback after tt
chris brown always with his dance moves tt really capture your attention

in short, you should watch it if its going to aired again

last wesnesday, went out my secondary school clique
eunice, desiree, piao xue, mildred and xiao yan
fathima couldnt make it tt day which is a waste
we had a BLAST!

then, went seoul garden @ marina square to have our "family time" together

its has been more than a week since my last post
its really not my fault for not updating because i have some connection problem for the past week
anyway, a lot of events happen last week & this week
let me rewind back...

last, last saturday(3/12) -
went to ica to accompany nabilah supposedly to change her passport's picture

while i had to wait her for her picture to be taken

guess who i met, bimaljit

get to chat for a while with him and then me & nabilah went off to have our lunch at the raffles hospital's banquet

then, walk around in bugis juncton 4 a while before, we went off as i had to study for my madrasah exam the next day

last monday(5/12) -
right after my paper, went to simei and met up wif mil, eunice & fathima
yanny and piao xue couldnt make it as they had class til evening
miss those people soo much & i was so happy when i get to meet them
went to desiree's house and suprised her as it was her bday tt day

after that, went to orchard as just walking around and had neoprints taken without fathima who was rushing to get back home
it was fun and then we went our separate ways

last wednesday(7/12) -
had no class on tt day so i get to meet up with nabilah again
and we went to ayuni's open house
the food was fantastic!!! love it

after that, went to watch movie 'the game plan' @ ps
its a very nice movie to watch
i like the kid playing in the movie.. shes awesome

last friday(9/12) -
it was my last paper and my last day in school
im soo gonna miss them
the big waste on tt day was tt i couldnt follow them to watch stardust
i was really sick on tt day with my temperature @ 38.8C

last saturday(10/12) -
it was my mom's bday

we didnt go out instead all my family members were here to celebrate her birthday

and there is an important event in my family that happened last sunday which i dont know how to say
in malay, its 'pergi meminang' for my uncle or something like that
in english, i think the correct phrase is my uncle getting engaged
any my mom as the eldest in the family is the one who put or "sarungkan" the ring to his fiancee i love this kind of event where all the family members gather and just have fun

on tue(13/12) -
went to chalet @ downtown east
met up wif them and then, me, terry, pinky, shamini & carol went to the beach
and had some pictures taken
i will upload it as soon as terry gave it to me
had barbeque in the evening and i didnt stay overnite, so went home with some of my friends who stayed the first nite

time flies so fast even without us realising it

its been exam week for me
the exam was ok,
except that i think i made a huge mistake or should i say, i forgot to write something really important in my accounting paper
hopefully, my project can help pull me up

miss fathima soo much
she a really close friend to me for 4 years
havent been contacting her for a very long time
i hope shes fine and hopefully can meet her someday

got 2 more exams to go and then its the end for me

Sat & Sun-
drove to Serkam,Malacca with my family
btw, Serkam is the name of my kampung (village) and not something else
visit our relatives there whom we only met once a year
i remembered all the houses that i went to, the host will prepare some kind of food like noodles and rice for us
i feel very bloated after leaving each house & of course, i will not get any money
for your info, people there are quite stingy when its about money

I invited my MDIS gang to my aunt's house for hari raya
im very sure they look forward to it
roti kirai is on the menu for them that day
we chat for a while at my house before we decided to go Little India

this is the first time I went Little India during their festive period
their bazaar has soo much colour & thats include the punjabi suit too

then, we had kuhfi if im not mistaken
its an ice-cream from northern part of india & the diffrence is that it has spices in it
i shared with beth for it

shes the one who has been asking other ppl to try it

after that, went arab street as pinky & vicky wanted to sheesha on that day
this is my first time going to that place
while they had their sheesha, others like me who dont sheesha-ing had dinner in form of sandwich shared among the 5 of us

this is beth's first time trying malay kueh as she is from India

yesterday, went to jb with the entire family without my sis of course

as she still got exam the next day

went to angsana first to buy more kuehs

then, went to jusco tebrau city to do some hari raya and grocery shopping

i finally got my shoe for hari raya.. YEAH!!!

currently, im @ my aunt's house( mak ngah ) at woodlands
blogging on my cuz laptop

doing kueh and lots of them
we started yesterday making kueh makmur
today, we are doing kueh tart & chocolate chip
isnt that delicious? hehe..
we still doing the kueh till tmr, probably making 2 more types of kueh
its very fun doing this especially with family members
its been my family traditon doing this every year & making it together

yesterday, was presentation day
my group was the last group to present
so most of the people are not there or they were so restless to listen to our presentation
all of us have to wear formal clothes

busy with projects of course.. haiz

went out these past few days

Thur-
went out with nabilah because i desperately need to see her
at least before raya
so went out to bugis.. den went to bussorah street
buy some food there to break fast with our own family
which means we didnt get to break fast together.. its ok
main purpose of me wanting to see her is that to give her birthday present
not going to say what it is..

Fri-
right after school at about 4 pm
went out with my mum( emak ) & sister( ecah )
decided to break fast outside
guess where we go?? Eastpoint!!!
by 6.30pm Banquet was full house, luckily we get there earlier
emak & I had wanton noodle while ecah had fish & chips
then, went geylang for a while & just look around

had family gathering at my second aunt's( mak ngah ) house at woodlands
was soo fun especially with all the food like roti canai, mee puteh goreng, kebab n much more
somehow this year, i crave kebab soo much
wherever i saw kebab, i will buy it.. Sooo LOvvvve Kebab
get to meet my cuz which i havent meet in ages

but its her job as a CISCO officer to have short hair

its RAMADAN( the fasting month ) already

for those of you who hasnt realise tt we had fast for 5 days already

& for the 1st time in my life, i done terawih for the past 4 nights

tarawih is an arabic phrase referring to those extra prayers

this prayer is performed after one of our main prayers at abt 8-10pm

actually, i find this terawih quite fun and new experience to me

i went with my aunt, uncles and sis going to different mosques every nite

on thur,went to darul aman mosque at eunos

on fri,went to alkaff mosque at potong pasir

on sat,went al-abdul razak mosque at kim chuan

on sun,went to mydin mosque at kembangan

today, still not sure where we going.. not to worry much about that

school has been great except for the projects of course

1 down, 3 to go..

yesterday, aunts, uncles and cuz came to my grandparents' house

we had so much laughter and i sooo LOVE gathering

had lot of delicious foods for breaking of fast

like kebab, murtabak, fried macaroni and lots more

its soo tempting..

and celebrate my cuz bdae which is tmr..

its the teachers day celebration at schools today
so sad, i cant go back & meet my teachers.. had class till 5 just now..

been busy this week

we still havent receive our results for term 1 but its ok

yesterday, the 26th of August
was exactly one year my dad left his loved ones
i still remember that day like it was yesterday

rewind back to a year ago
my dad has been suffering from cancer quietly without telling his family
probably not to worried us at that time
he was a very simple man and not very sociable just like me
but to be honest with you guys, im not his favourite but my sis is
i know he still cared for me

we didnt know what happen to him
he lost his weight, didnt have appetite to eat & so, we thought it was normal for an old man like him
until one day, he was admitted to sgh
the doctor didnt tell us anything xcept tt he had to undergo some operation to remove something which i cant remember

we thought it will be better but it became worser
we had been told of him suffering from cancer 2 days before his death
it was a BIG blow for me and my family
as he was the only breadwinner, i tot how my family is gng to survive
but we manage to go through our life till now.. "alhamdullillah"
i am fortunate to have the time to ask forgiveness from him
if not i think would feel very guilty for what i have done to him
my mum stayed with him till his last breath

the ceremony was done smoothly from start to finish
a lot of ppl visited us or send their condolences including my classmates and friends
thank you so much guys for being there for me and my family

now, my family are leading a simple life living with my aunt at kallang
we will go back to our house at bedok when we are free

for the past 1 year, i have seen him 3 times in my dream
and the weird thing is that im the only one in my family that saw him
i told my mum about it
she said that probably he ask me to take care of the family just like what he did
as im the eldest in the family
hopefully, i can fulfill my duty.. "insyallah"

update you guys on my school life
its a new term for me and the rest of my frineds in mdis
yesterday we had communications module & just now, we had f&b mgmt
the lecturer we got for f&b is an Italian guy named Perlusz
he like to talk to himself and the way he test the mic is just funny.. hehe

anyway, right after just now, went to eastpoint
that place has changed a lot including banquet
the place where i had my brunch just now
its been a year since i went there
i always went there with friends during my secondary school years
i always had mee wanton which is my favourite food there.. haiz..
those days which might never come back

walk around the place for a while at nabilah, seeing the new shops
i think the place has become a bit livelier with all those shop opening there
like long john, watsons, ip zone.....

oh yes, i almost forgot to tell
i went j.b last saturday with my family doing some shopping and other stuff
its a pity we never took pics on that day
one more thing, i have one advice for those anyone gng j.b
pls eat at any stalls and dont go to those restaurant like kenny rogers
their service is BAD compared to those stalls which offer better quality and better food
what i mean by bad is that they forgot our order
which means they didnt give our food that we want.. omg... how bad can tt be

im sooooo tired..
on weekends went out on both days with my friends
whom i have not met them for a quite some time

yesterday, went out wif yanny, mildred & eunice
piao xue is also suppose to be there but she kind of busy with work, projects...

after my madrasah, drop off my books n then, meet yanny for present hunting
i pity yanny a alot..
she lost 2 very valuable things in 2 straight months and one of them she lost it yesterday

then, went vivo again.. omg.. getting sick of that place

walk around and asking about each other lives abt their exams & projects

we went to sentosa because we cant think of any other place to go to

especially those tt have watch shutter before

just came back from grocery shopping wif my mum
soo tiring especially with the scorching sun

finally i got hold of 2 things/person after a very long time

will miss her soo much

this week has been an exam week
on monday, i had marketing
just now, i had i.t

i LOVE the marketing paper
i could do it confidently
hopefully my result will be good for it

there is this one question
one part consist of 12 marks
while the other part is 8 marks
i know the answer for the 1st part but i dont know the 2nd part
how bad can that be
now its as if i lost all the 8 marks.. argggghhh

had lunch at Mac at Harbourfront
it was raining heavily just now
window shopping at vivocity as the things are very expensive
even after BIG discount
had fun in Toys R Us

we walk the whole day
from marina bay to tanjong pagar to chinatown
to lau pa sat to esplanade
and finally "ferrying" ourself to clarke quay
before we went home

i was suppose to bring them to lau pa sat
but we kind of lost our way
n then the help came from the map that we found

we had a "very gooood" service when we went to lau pa sat
its because i kind of made 1 of the stall holder angry in an indirect way
i heard from eu & yanny that this will be 1st and last visit to lau pa sat
hehe :)

before we went our separate ways

1 long bz wk without any break
all ma secondary skool frens r enjoying their 2 wks break for poly students while ma jc frens r having their 1 month break.. haiz

im freaking tired, but DAMN happyyyy

went out wif my frens yesterday
i was suppose 2 meet my yanny @ e dhoby ghaut mrt
but she kinda late so went of wif piao xue & eunice
piao was SUPPOSE to meet eu @ 130
but she juz arrive @ 230
wat e hell

den we went to star factory
play tis games when u control e thing to get e thing inside it
eu is awesome @ playing tis game
n we kind of get a pink stuff animal wich is wif piao now..

its sunday n tmr gotta start skool again tmr.. haiz.. -_-
but its ok, i hav promise 2 ma mum tt i will do ma bez in order 4 me 2 support ma family financially as im e eldest child since ma dad pass away last yr..
n ma mom is nt working bcos ma sis n me didnt allow her.. @ her age i doubt she can find any job tt will pay a reasonable salary..

so, tmr im having e most boooooring module, principles of biz mgmt(II)..
e lecture is soooooo boring he lyke toking 2 himself..
me n ma frens will always tok all crappy stuff especially pauline n pinky, when hes giving lecture in front.. hehe..

yesterdae, when out wif yanny aka xiao yan n piao xue aka super hot female @ parkway..
i hav 2 wait 4 them 4 @ least an hour.. bcos i kind of went out earlier.. hehe..
yanny was very different as she change her specs n her hairstyle..
px, meanwhile was sick but she still went out.. i really miss them..

n 1 2 noe smtg, among e ppl tt i mention, im e youngest @ 17...
i dont noe y im talking abt tis..
anyway, age doesnt matter when u really 1 2 study rite??
btw, they r all very niiiiice ppl n sometimes, some of them r juz very talkative n we will juz listen 2 them talking... n tt is u pinky..
